PNRR incentives for electric vehicles: who is eligible?
Beneficiaries, requirements and key conditions for accessing the new electric vehicle incentive.
The new electric vehicle bonus has two categories of beneficiaries: private individuals and micro-enterprises, meaning businesses with no more than 10 employees and a turnover, or total balance sheet, of up to 2 million euros. Eligible vehicles and maximum amounts differ for each.
Private individuals
The bonus applies to M1 cars with a list price of up to 35,000 euros, excluding VAT and optional extras:
- 11,000 euros with an ISEE (equivalent economic situation indicator) of up to 30,000 euros;
- 9,000 euros with an ISEE between 30,000 and 40,000 euros.
Only one bonus is granted per household.
Micro-enterprises
The incentives apply to electric commercial vehicles in categories N1 (maximum mass up to 3.5 t) and N2 (up to 12 t). The contribution covers up to 30% of the price excluding VAT, up to 20,000 euros. Each micro-enterprise can receive at most two bonuses.
